About MUSD
Vision: Every student works to achieve grade level standards, feels safe and is supported to realize individual success.
Mission: Through smart actions and decisions, MUSD will work together using meaningful, measurable and aligned data for all students to achieve mastery of grade level standards in all subjects based on their unique educational pathway in a safe environment inclusive of design, security and climate.

During the Summer Migrant Ed Program, elementary students benefit from small group learning with teachers, paraprofessionals and student interns.

In the classroom and on the field, Mr. Joseph Rasmussen is an all-star.
So, it’s no surprise that the Lathrop Elementary teacher was invited to take the field with the San Francisco 49ers as their honored “Teacher of the Game”!

Over the past four years, Weston Ranch High School has hosted an annual Math Cup to help show elementary-aged students that math can be fun!

In MUSD, there are nearly 5,000 students in our English Language Development (ELD) program. During the 2022-23 school year, over 450 students achieved English fluency with the support of educators, bilingual aides and admin!

This month, MUSD’s Board of Education approved modernization plans for several schools! Thanks to local tax measures, our district will be able to update several aging campuses to benefit future generations.

While the power of music is felt every day, March is recognized as “Music in Our Schools Month”. In honor of this year’s theme, “Music is All of Us”, we invited Manteca Unified’s Visual & Performing Arts (VAPA) Coordinator Anthony Dahl to tell us more about the evolution of MUSD’s music program.
